Simplify Your Self Care is a free 5-day email challenge designed to help you sustainably look after yourself so you can carry on looking after everyone else.
Looking after yourself doesn’t need to be time-consuming or costly but it can make the world of difference to how strong, happy and resilient you are for daily life.
There’s only one you. Be kind to yourself.
For many of us, we spend our days juggling kids, work, family, friends and all manner of commitments and responsibilities. Looking after ourselves after we’ve been looking after everyone else feels like more of a burden than a pleasure when we’re tired, pushed for time or have lots on our mind.
Sometimes we can also feel guilty or selfish for spending time or money on ourselves (or even contemplating it) especially when we have other important things to do and people to look after.
For a variety of reasons, we tend to push ourselves to the bottom of the priority pile and then wonder why we get tired, run down, frustrated or resentful.
This challenge is designed to help you change these thoughts by simplifying your self care and giving you some ideas for effective ways of looking after you that are practical, realistic and totally affordable (for your time, money and energy!).
This mini challenge won’t just tell you to soak in a long hot bath or get a manicure. I won’t suggest you have a weekend away with your friends or spend lots of money on a spa visit.
Although these activities will all help, they’re not always practical if your time and/or budget are limited!
I believe that the true meaning of self care runs a lot deeper than these activities. And the meaning and benefit can both be gained without spending money, time and energy that you might not have.
This challenge will help you discover more about the true meaning of self care – that’s effective, sustainable and realistic for all of us.
“Simplify Your Self Care was eye-opening. You just get so overwhelmed with so much to do it feels like there is no time for self care.”
“This course was absolutely wonderful for me! Not only did I get a chance to learn how to care for myself, but also how it affects the people around me. I felt happier, less overwhelmed and I just felt freer in myself.”
There’s only one you and you demand a lot of your body and mind. So, let’s find ways to help you take care of yourself so that you can carry on looking after everyone else!
