The focus of this small simplicity challenge is to appreciate how simplifying your life can pave the way for you to find more happiness in your life.

Your challenge for today is to identify things that made you happy last week and do more of them.

 

Simplifying your life isn’t just about clearing the clutter and having a neat and tidy home, although these are lovely in themselves!

The ultimate aim of a simpler life is to have more time, more freedom and less stress so that you can enjoy a fuller, happier life.

 
Your challenge for today

Today, I’d like you to think about the past week and 3 things that made you REALLY HAPPY.

Think…

  • What they were
  • Why they made you happy
  • How you can do them again

Pick one of those things and do it today.

 

Here are some examples to get you thinking…

  • Meeting a friend for coffee
  • Playing a board game with your kids
  • Getting your nails done
  • Gardening
  • Calling your mum
  • Going to the cinema
  • Eating chocolate
  • Taking a proper lunch break rather than a sandwich at your desk
  • Trying out a new recipe
  • Doing DIY

It doesn’t matter what you choose. Just make sure it’s realistic and you can find a way to do it today.
