HELLO AND WELCOME!
Hello, I’m Antonia and welcome to Balance Through Simplicity!
I’m so pleased you’re here.
Here you’ll find practical inspiration to help you declutter your home, simplify your life and create more time, space and freedom for what really matters to you.
Life is full of ups and downs and we all do our best to navigate the challenges of daily life, but it’s not always easy, is it?
Modern life is busy, chaotic and pulls us in every direction. We’re encouraged from every angle to do more, achieve more, buy more and be more. But more of all these things doesn’t necessarily mean we’re happier or more fulfilled. Quite the opposite sometimes.
If you’re feeling overstretched, overwhelmed, unsettled or frustrated with a busy home, life or schedule, I hope I can help.
I created Balance Through Simplicity to share what I’ve learned from simplifying my own life, in case some of the ideas, tips and lessons might help you too.

FINDING BALANCE THROUGH SIMPLICITY
Simplicity is not a magic wand to make life easy, but I do believe it can help us create a life that’s full of what matters and less of what doesn’t.
For me, simplifying life isn’t about having an empty home, following a set of rules or trying to create a perfect minimalist lifestyle.
It’s about making space.
- Space in your home.
- Space in your schedule.
- Space in your mind.
- And space for the people, activities and priorities that matter most to you.
Clearing our clutter in all its shapes and forms isn’t always easy, but it can have some great benefits. When we remove some of the things that distract, overwhelm and pull us off course, we can create more room for what we actually want from life.
That might mean decluttering your home. It might mean simplifying your schedule, your habits and routines, your finances or your commitments. It might mean looking after yourself better, setting boundaries or being more intentional about how you spend your time and energy.
What that looks like will be different for each of us.
It’s not so much about what your home and life LOOK like. It’s what they FEEL like to you that matters.
THE BALANCE THROUGH SIMPLICITY JOURNEY
I don’t believe you need to change everything at once.
Big changes begin with small actions. Simplifying life is often a gradual process of noticing what isn’t working, deciding what matters and making small, consistent changes.
CREATE SPACE
Start by clearing some of the clutter that’s making life feel harder than it needs to.
That might be physical clutter in your home, but clutter can take many other forms too — an overflowing schedule, too many commitments, habits that no longer serve you, or the constant mental load of trying to remember and manage everything.
You don’t have to declutter everything or make dramatic changes. Small, consistent steps can make a surprisingly big difference.
DECIDE WHAT MATTERS
Once you’ve created a little more space, you can start to think about what you actually want to make room for.
- What matters most to you?
- What brings you joy, purpose and direction?
- What do you want more of in your life — and what are you ready to let go of?
Simplifying isn’t just about removing things. It’s about making intentional and mindful decisions about how you want to live.
MAKE LIFE SIMPLER
From there, you can make small changes that support the life you want to live.
That might mean creating easier routines, making more time for what matters, looking after yourself, simplifying your home or being more intentional about your choices.
There is no one right way to do this.
Choose what works for you and what feels right.
The goal isn’t a perfectly simple life. It’s a life with more space, calm and freedom for what matters most to you.

YOUR TIME

You’ll find ideas about time management, productivity, planning, habits and routines to help you spend your time in ways that support what matters most to you.
YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE
Simplify the things that make up everyday life, from mindset and self-care to finances, meal planning, seasonal living and intentional living.
These are all different ways of making life a little easier, reducing overwhelm and creating more space for what matters.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALL
If you’re struggling and don’t know where or how to start, that’s okay.
Plenty of people feel like that, and I certainly did when I first began simplifying my own life.
You don’t need to declutter your whole home, reorganise your entire schedule or change everything about the way you live.
- Start with one small thing.
- Notice what feels unnecessarily complicated.
- Ask yourself what matters most.
- Then make one small change.
You might be surprised by how much difference that one small step can make.
