Self-care should be a regular part of your normal routine for a healthy and happy body and mind.

Unfortunately, however, it so often gets pushed to the bottom of the priority list as our busy lives and busy schedules compete for our attention.

No wonder then that so many of us feel stressed, tired and out-of-sync with our body’s natural rhythms and needs. Everyone feels like this from time to time, but if this becomes your default state and it continues for too long, you may be heading for burnout.

Looking after yourself doesn’t need to be complicated, time-consuming, expensive or a guilt-inducing luxury that you spend your precious you-time feeling like you’re neglecting your responsibilities and being selfish.

Far from. Self-care that truly speaks to the heart, mind and soul and restores from within, is simple, effective and often using just the tools and resources we have in our every day.

We just need to make time and space to listen and enjoy them.
